The vacuum does it every time...totally. Sooner gas is gone, the faster you clear the wine. Usually takes a couple of rackings but worth it.

i wouldnt bottle with any sign if sediment even if t were only on the bottom. i would rack, sulfite if needed. Top off and let it sit and see if any more sediment drops.
