I saw a post a while ago from Polish Princess on a rhubarb recipie.
I was wondering what parts of the recipies I might not need for either rhubarb or plum wine if I try to extract the juice using the steamer juicer?
I recently aquired a cheap aluminum one on e-bay and am chomping at the bit to try it out. We will have apretty good crop from my plum, cherry trees, and our rhubarb.

I use about the same amount of fruit per gallon/recipe when I steam juice the fruit....If there is a lot of fruit available I throw in 2-3# extra pounds. I always thought maybe I wasn't getting all the goodies out by not using the straining bag.....

I have noticed others [perhaps Waldo] sometimes puts the spent pulp out of the steamer into a straining bag...but there really isn't much left in there.

Other than that...use all the same ingredients as usual.
