After four months of bottling some cabernet, it now smells like rubber gloves/not quite rotten eggsand has a lot of fizz. I did oak it with dark roast chips, racked itand let it sit before bottling. It was dry, clear and had no fizz prior to bottling. I made this batch from juice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like it was not fully/properly degassed before bottling. You have two options. Open them all back up and properly degas and rebottle/cork or try and degas each bottle one by one by opening it well ahead of time and allow the CO2 to dissipate by decanting it.

Not sure about the rubber smell right off the bat. We would need more detailed info on the kit and your process to really assist more.

Yep, like Mike said, the fizz is likely CO2.
Not sure what you mean exactly when you say it smells like rubber.
If it is a "burnt" rubber smell, it is typically associated with mercaptans. Don't panic though; that probably is not the case, since that is unusual.

Did the wine smell like rotten eggs before you bottled it or did it smell right? Rethinking the current smell, does it still smell like rotten eggs?

Is this a kit? If yes, contact the LHBS form whom you bought it and discuss it with them. Or find an experienced wine maker and let him/her smell of it.

Worse case there are some labs you can send a sample to and they can tell you if it is mercaptans, though it likely is not.

It smells like rubber gloves, but slightly like rotten eggs.. It was juice wine and before I bottled it, it bulked aged for 7 months. It smelled and tasted great beforeI bottled it.
