The Map
http://wineapp.michaelsouellette.com/
Here is a Google map where we can all add our address and aby wineries or Brew shops near us or anywhere that you know of so that people can come on here and know who lives near them and if they have a Brew shop near them to buy supplies. Please take the time to enter yourself and any thing related to wine and beer making in here! This Map comes to us from Rodo and his son. Thanks!

Thanks Rod and also please tell your son thanks for all his work and efforts!
Wade, this is a totally awesome map Rod and his son made. Is there a way we can post a permanent link on the front page for this?

Hmm, it thinks Bloomfield, KY is off the west coast of Africa. Nice one google. Can't see anything wrong in the address, anyone else see anything wrong?
Great map though! I can't delete the Turning Point Vineyards entry, but if someone else can go ahead since it's obviously in the wrong location.

I listed about 10 addresses with no problem. Do not include dashes in phone numbers

I was more than happy to write this program up. It was great fun and I can't wait to see the map get populated with the different markers. If you guys have any problems or suggestion you can leave them here and I will try to address them as quick as possible. Eventually there will be a suggestion form on the i button on the map.
The map is in constant beta and things may break and there may be problems but with your help I can get the bugs worked out much quicker. I've already noticed quite a few since it was opened up and they are being address.
For IE users you will see a pop up asking you to install a Google Chrome frame this is because the map uses some advance coding that IE can not render. If you install that frame it will run in the background and allow the map to work flawlessly on your computer.
And I did notice a stray marker on the map. This was caused because the street name was spelled wrong I fixed the street name and I will have the spelling problem fixed by the end of today.

I also fixed the phone numbers. It was a problem with just the homebrew stores, now if you enter slashes it will just take them out for you.

Thanks for fixing that, it's actually misspelled on the Kentucky Wine webpage where I got it! I've never actually been to this winery, but I've had a few of their wines and they are excellent.

Is there a way to add the feature where you square off an area that you want blown up like Microsoft Streets and Trips?

I tried to post 2 locations... they never appeared... Do they have to be approved by admin?
