Well just bottled my first batch ... it was a breezin green apple gur. I was going to throw it out but I was told here and by George to finish it. I'm glad I did.

Got 30 bottles of light semi-sweet wine. I can see myself enjoying this on one of those 100 degree days next summer - or - giving this to some of my non wine drinking friends.

Trying to learn as I go I was surprised at the ph level. I thought it would come in high (low acid) at around 4.0 ... but I was wrong, it measured in at 3.0

well got a lot to learn ... got 1 down.

PS ... thanks for the sugar tip ... I added 2# to bump it a bit, and am glad I did.

Glad it turned out well for you. BTW I would not worry with PH or acid readings on kits as they have all been adjusted by the manufacturer.
