Thanks for the replies. Since it's been 4 or 5 days now sitting at SG 0.997, I was pretty sure it was just a lot of gas. I plan on taking care of that tonight. Will use both agitation and vacuum until the co2 is gone. It is clearing fairly well on it's own, but I plan to stick to the recipe and use the Sparkolloid. If nothing else, it will get it the bottle a little quicker. lol

OK, I just thought I was done asking questions. The recipe seems very specific about adding the sugar after the SP has cleared "add 6 cups of sugar and stir to disolve". So am I correct in assuming that this is just granulated sugar and not sugar reduced to a syrup?
