Default question on campden tablets?

In any of the kits I have made or most recipes I have read [web] use campden tablets.. But I didn't see any campden tablets in the welch's recipe? Do I add it or not?

Welch's is a concentrated juice so it is not
likely to have any contamination in it.

However I would suggest to use the campdens
anyhow.
The reason that a lot of recipes do not list campden
tablets is because using campden is a matter of
proper winemaking techniques and considered
as an obvious step.

I used sodium metabisulfite powder, I think it's the same thing but easier to use, maybe one of the other members have more to say about this, the ingredients, as far as I understand in a campden tablet are the same as a sulfite powder. Sorry about the cork in the bottle, I live in Alaska, I may never have wine that'll make it to a bottle with a cork, I may drink it first. HeeHee, Troy

Capmden is potassium metabisulphite.
You can also get as a powder.

Best is not to get sodium in your wine.
