Pee won't clear
I am making Danger's Easy Peesy, started on 12/7/2011. I have used superkleer on the last racking a week ago and it did not clear. The Gewurz. I was making alongside it cleared in 24 hrs. SuperKleer again, or now Sparkaloid??

How old is this wine? Is it fully degassed and up to temperature (75*)? Last question did you rack just before adding the super Kleer. SuperKleer works best with some sediment in the wine, Although I've had it clear with and without the lees.

If your Pee wont clear you probably have a U.T.I.! Sorry couldnt resist! I would have asked the same questions Runningwolf did. That being said is it cloudy or hazy?

I know I am always inviting that, but hey, I know I didn't make up the name! In fact, it looks like it came from a sick Horse! Anyway, I started it on Dec 7 of last year, using slurry from my Gerwurz. I fermented quick at around 72 degrees F and has been racked 3 times. Just wondering if pee is harder to clear than regular wine. It is my first pee and it seems harder than any of the kit wines. Maybe the RealLemon has some fruit pulp or something that makes it harder. I was sold on SuperKleer for everything until this dang pee.

I would suggest keeping the heat up to temp and let it sit another 3-4 weeks before doing anything else.

I use Sparkolloid on my SP, including my 4 berry and it always clears in a few days. Hope that helps.
I just racked to secondaries Saturday, 4 days ago and added kmeta, sorbate and Sparkolloid and it is clear today.

Sparkaloid usually works on Skeeter Pee for me. When it works, it seems to work really fast. Arne.

Seems strange to add dirt (sparkolloid) to "pee" but it sure worked great on my first batch! Took about 2 weeks for mine to drop all the little white snow-globe floaters but it ended up amazingly clear.
