Default Coffee Filter

After reading Malweth's post about the broken glass in must, I have a question. How do you use a coffee filter to filter the wine without getting too musch oxygen in the wine?

Thanks

Coffee filters have a rather large pore opening as they are designed to catch compartively large particles. They are also designed for drain filtering, for the most part, and not pressure filtering.

While catching large debris, such as glass tipsa and steel balls, they would work, but would aereate the wine at the same time. Either carefull racking, or racking and using a sieve funnel would do as well, IMO.

Unless your wine is already very clear these filters will clog etremely fast as they dont have much volume to surface ratio.
