Default help degassing skeeter

I have some skeeter that I drank all but 12 bottles, going to a tail gate party on saturday and would like to take the last of them with, when I open the bottles they are always fizzy, I am almost sure it was not degassed all the way, could I open and degass and rebottle? I have found a better way to degass, when doing a 6 gallon I rack 1 gallon into a carboy shake for a minute or two and transfer to another carboy, repeat 6 time and there you have it.

Rob, you really need to get a better way of degassing your wine. You should invest in a simple drill mounted stirrer as in the link I have provided. http://www.finevinewines.com/ProdDetA.asp?PartNumber=15262. You can open each bottle and degas them but I would advise you to also sulfite them again before doing so.

Thanks Wade, I do have a drill mounted paddle, I really think I might be on to something with degassing a gallon at a time, try it once. I have tried several different ways of degassing over the past 2 years and I am telling you a gallon at a time really works.
